1. Who operates this site
RustPoint is an independent website providing browser-based tools and fan-made game guides. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ConcernedApe or the owners of Stardew Valley.
Questions about this policy can be submitted through the RustPoint contact form.
2. Information processed by the site
- Necessary preferences: the site may store your language and privacy choices in a first-party cookie or browser local storage.
- Tool input: text and images entered into the letter, dialog, font, and similar browser tools are intended to be processed locally in your browser unless a tool clearly states otherwise.
- Technical request data: the hosting and security provider may process IP address, user agent, timestamps, requested URLs, and security events to deliver and protect the site.
- Contact submissions: information you choose to submit through the external contact form is processed by that form provider and used to answer or review your message.
3. Google Analytics
If you consent to analytics, RustPoint loads Google Analytics to understand visits, page usage, device and browser characteristics, approximate location derived from IP address, referral information, and interaction events. Google may use cookies, IP addresses, or similar identifiers to provide this service.
Analytics is optional and is not loaded by RustPoint before you grant analytics consent. You can later withdraw that consent using .
4. Google AdSense and advertising cookies
If you consent to advertising, RustPoint may load Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, may place or read cookies, use web beacons, collect IP addresses or other identifiers, and process information about visits to this and other websites to deliver, limit, personalize, secure, and measure advertising.
Google and its advertising partners may use advertising cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this website or other websites. You can manage Google ad personalization in Google Ads Settings and learn how Google uses information from partner sites in Google's partner-sites notice.
Visitors in the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland may also receive a consent message supplied by a Google-certified consent management platform, which lists relevant advertising vendors and purposes.
5. Cookie and consent choices
- Necessary storage records language and privacy choices and cannot be disabled through the preference panel.
- Analytics is disabled until you opt in.
- Advertising is disabled until you opt in; regulated regions may require additional choices through a certified CMP.
You can reject optional technologies, choose categories separately, or withdraw a previous choice at any time through . Clearing browser storage will also remove the local consent record.
6. Purposes and sharing
Information is processed to deliver site functionality, remember preferences, secure the service, measure performance when permitted, show and measure advertising when permitted, respond to messages, and comply with legal obligations.
Data may be processed by infrastructure, security, analytics, advertising, and contact-form providers only for their applicable services. RustPoint does not sell contact-form submissions. Advertising providers may process data under their own policies and consent signals.
7. Retention and security
The local consent record remains in your browser until you remove it or the policy version changes. Contact messages are retained only as reasonably needed to respond, prevent abuse, and maintain records. Google and other service providers determine retention for data they process under their published controls and agreements.
RustPoint uses HTTPS and reasonable technical measures, but no internet transmission or storage method is completely secure.
8. Children, sensitive data, and personal identifiers
The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age required for independent consent in their country. Do not submit sensitive personal information through creative tools or contact fields.
RustPoint does not intentionally send names, email addresses, or other directly identifying information to Google in ad requests. Please avoid placing personal information in URLs or query parameters.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal data, or withdraw consent. Use the Contact page to submit a request. We may need enough information to verify and respond to it.
10. Changes to this policy
Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. If a change requires new consent, the saved consent version may be reset so that you can make a new choice.
